Example for a "Simple Roof":
half-hipped roof with two dormers, shown by ZIMMERER-Software's "Roof Framing Plan"
(measures and numeration switched off in this example)
Within ZIMMERER-Software, the following roof types are considered "simple roofs":
Flat roof, shed roof, gable roof, hipped roof, half-hipped roof and dutch hip roof
(provided that all corners are right angled),
as well as these types of dormers:
A-Dormer
Gabled Dormer
Hipped Dormer
Shed Dormer
Trapezoid Dormer
These "simple" roofs can be entered fast and efficiently using built in macros.
Gable&Valley-, Hip&Valley-, Gambrel-, Mansard-, porch- or winter garden roofs
can be easily entered by composing predefined building blocks,
where each building block is a shed roof with optional hip and valley.
